The 1960's Bargara Gardens Motel
looked a bit different to what we see in 2006.
This poster was located by the
daughter of the original builder, possibly in the 1960's motels were uncommon,
and an attached cafe was great for the locals.
It is interesting to note that even
then Bargara was claiming to have Bundaberg's beach. Also interesting that
Bargara Gardens has the same telephone number, it just has five more numbers in
the front.
